Sandra (Sandy) Herbst is a retired Graphic Artist. She moved to Fountain Hills in 1994 from Antioch, Illinois.

Her art training has been in high school, college and several painting and sculpture classes. She enjoys all the diverse mediums. She is a member of the Fountain Hills Art League and been a part of “Tour d’Artistes” for 4 years.

She believes that, “Variety is the Spice of Life.” This is reflected in her many art forms.

Sculpture with paper clay and fired clay is just one of the mediums used.

Fabric Art has produced pillows with a mixed media form, painting and sewing combined. She has sewn puppets and large animal costumes for Fantasy Workshop, as well as home decor and clothing. 

She has also painted wall murals, furniture, clothing and purses. In collaboration with another artist, we have painted a guitar and violin for auction at the Music Instrument Museum in Phoenix, AZ.

Collage & mosaic are used for jewelry, table tops, trays and wall art. This has become a Vintage/Revived idea to help recycle interesting items.
